Karl Monger is an expert in military veteran transition. His practice is built on decades of lessons learned in his own transition and in helping other veterans. Karl is the Founder and Executive Director of GallantFew, Inc., a nonprofit helping military veterans transition from active duty to civilian lives of hope and purpose. He is a retired reserves US Army Major who served in infantry and Ranger assignments. He has received awards from the Small Business Administration and several veteran organizations for his leadership in veteran issues, but the title he treasures the most is “Ranger Shepherd”, bestowed by a former CIA operative and Ranger veteran. Karl authored “Common Sense Transition”, available on Amazon, is an award winning video producer and Functional Emotional FitnessTM Certified Master Practitioner. He is a member of Trophy Club Rotary Club, and former president of Metroport Rotary. In 2021 he was re-elected to the Trophy Club Town Council. In May of 2022 he graduated from the University of North Texas with a Master of Science focused on rehabilitation counseling. He is pursuing licensure as a professional counselor and certification as a rehabilitation counselor. He is married to Sara and has two daughters, two grandsons and two dogs. He specializes in problem-solving, veteran small business and life skills. He coaches veterans at no charge to the veteran.
